Thoughts go out to the people of Japan

Watching the news today is mortifying. My thoughts go out to the people of Japan, who had made me so welcome as an 'honoured guest' during my two week stay less than a month ago. The consequences of the devastating Tsunami are unthinkable and i hope that the global community will come together to support the people of Japan in the same way that they supported the people of countries effected by the Boxing Day Tsunami.
