A close call at Beijing airport

Well just getting here was an adventure! I was booked onto a flight leaving from Beijing International Airport which has three terminals… You can see where this is going I guess - well you would be right, on arriving at the airport after travelling on the very first underground train I get the attention of the information lady who directs me to a line for check in… 30 mins later I get to the front of the line only to be told that I am in the wrong terminal 0_0 I have 30 mins before my flight time and the terminal is 10 mins away!! I practically flew through the airport corridors with backpack and rucksack bouncing in my wake and the few people on route looking on humouredly… I made it to the terminal in 5 mins, sweating and out of breath with blister on my hand - but then saw the lines for check in… The guy on information was a star and immediately on seeing my ticket briskly took my arm and bolted me towards the front of the line stating something in Chinese that clearly was along the lines of “Can you check this late persons baggage in for his flight”, then it was off to the security line - once again I was barged into the front of the line (Thank you to all those who allowed me to pass) and I was left to sprint to the gate… I barely made it with 1 min to last call… phew… On the plane I could finally relax
