I was very fortunate yesterday to have a hostel manager who was willing to keep the TV lounge open into the early hours to watch the royal wedding of Will and Kate on BBC America. It was a wonderful spectacle with grand parades, pageantry and a wealth of colour - we watched mesmerised from 10pm through to 2.30am as the wedding unfolded before adulating crowd culminating in the balcony kiss with memorial fly over… Suffice to say a memorable night… My only regret was not being in London to experience it first hand, However, I did raise a glass here in celebration.
