Taking one of the pedal cyclo’s is an experience in itself as you are peddled through the streets on a bucket seat attached to the front of the cyclo - it offers a wonderful view of the streets and is a sedate way to be transported, however they really only cater for tourists now and be prepared to pay for the experience! As you are transported through the streets - body first into the swirling melee of junctions where scooters swarm around you from all directions, you can observe the passing buildings and enjoy the entertainment provided through the ever hopeful hawkers of all wears and the busy pavement stalls with tiny plastic chairs were locals drink, eat and play games while discussing the day :)
Be aware that when walking along the wide pavements that these are also used for parking by scooters and this is taken as normal, therefore do not be surprised when as you are strolling along that scooters buzz past you!!
