After another 15mins I am across to the other side of the bridge and look back at the achievement. Another wonderful site greets me from the panoramic viewing point in the Golden Gate Park. I am blown away (in some ways literally)… The weather and my luck holds good as three open top tour buses are on their last run of the day, parked at the viewing spot when I arrive - a quick word with the driver and I have a lift back Union Square for $10 J saving me at least a 5 mile walk !!
Must have covered 20kms today in the sun and I begin to feel it in the evening… little sunburnt ;) so remember you sun cream if your out during the day - the wind means you don’t feel the burn but believe me it does make you a little red ;)
