The Stratosphere is a 3* hotel located on the Northern Edge of the Strip. This location does isolate it a little from the rest of the attractions - however there is a bus called the Deuce ($20 for a 3 day ticket) which will whisk you down to all the attractions running 24hours a day every 10mins or so (try to avoid peak times as the buses do get very crowded!!)…
Arrival at the hotel was painless with speedy check in and the allocation of a room on the 24th (top) floor, a room with wonderful views of the northern edge of Las Vegas, Downtown and the background mountains - Brilliant. Room comes equipped with Large TV, numerous fluffy towels but no kettle or drink cabinet… Good value however for the money paid. I settle in and prep for the week ahead. :)
