MOMA

Final stop of the day was an evening trip to MOMO (Museum of Modern Art), located 10 mins walk from the hostel and ½ price on Thursday evening $9. Worth a visit if your interested in ‘modern’ art. My favourite piece was a pair of self portrait casts (busts) of a young lady one made of soap and the other made of chocolate J Awesomely creative idea as each was subtly unique due to one being licked by the artist leaving it warped/deformed, while the other had been lathered a little making it gently loose some of its harsher lines. Blew me away - Awesome idea producing a striking piece of art, which really speaks to the viewer and draws in your attention.
